Kitchen Remodel, Siding and Windows

We have known and dealt with Dan Bishop and his company for over 15 years and have involved him in a number of “home improvement” projects. We started by replacing all of the windows in our home with Anderson energy efficient windows. This included large picture windows and a patio door. Dan Bishop also increased the width of several windows, which included replacing the headers and making the necessary structural modifications.
Bishop Construction was also responsible for re-siding our home, replacing the outdated aluminum siding with a quality vinyl siding. This project was completed within a reasonable length of time and his subcontractor even rebuilt the front overhang, at no extra charge.
The latest project included a complete renovation of our kitchen, which entailed removing all the old cabinets, removing the soffits, enabling us to install taller cabinets, new ceiling and indirect lighting. New counter tops and installing a new oak hardwood floor in place of the old vinyl floor. His crew and subcontractors were courteous and cleaned up after every project.
Dan would frequently stop by the job site or phone us to make sure that the work was progressing smoothly and to our satisfaction and he was always in contact with his crew during the job.
Dan made a number of suggestions, which helped us stay within our budget. We have recommended Dan Bishop and Bishop Construction to a number of people and they have been very happy with his work and work ethic. Dan has brought potential customers into our home to see his work and we have been happy to accommodate them.

Bathroom Remodel
We worked with Bishop Construction to remodel our master bathroom and turn it into the beautiful and luxurious bathroom that we always wanted. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results. His team was quick, efficient, clean and most importantly polite and friendly. Bathroom Remodel
My husband and I used Dan Bishop from Bishop Construction as our contractor for two projects. The first was a bathroom remodel project and the second was replacing our front steps. Dan came to our home before each project began to assess the situation and made some great suggestions regarding what materials to use. In the bathroom project we needed all new plumbing, new walls and even needed to take out a window that was there. The sub-contractors that Dan sent to do the work were really professional and did a great job. The sub-contractors made sure to clean the area when they were done for the day and they also made sure to update us as they were making progress in the room. We did have an issue with the faucet that we had the plumber put in, but it was a defective faucet from the manufacture. I want to say that both Dan and the plumber came back out to our home without a problem to replace it with a better fitting model shortly after we noticed the issue.
When we had our front steps replaced Dan sent a wonderful mason to our home who got the job done in one day. We had sandstone steps on brick and we were going to do the same thing, but a suggestion was made to us by Dan to use a stronger type of stone in order to not have the steps crumble again in the years to come. We are very happy that we took his suggestion about the steps and Dan did a great job in finding the right person to work with us.

Complete Renovation of First Floor
We can’t say enough about what a great experience it has been to work with Dan. He guided us through a process that began with removing one wall and culminated in a renovation of our entire first floor. Dan helped us through the design process, showed us work he had done at other clients’ homes, and referred us to sources for materials throughout the process. The people that he brought to work on our job were, without exception skilled, courteous, and a genuine pleasure to have in our home. Dan was unfailing in providing prompt attention to our questions and keeping the job moving forward. He continually worked to reduce labor costs to keep our prices reasonable. Whole House Remodel
I just wanted to write to give kudos to the Bishop Construction team. Their professional approach to working with me on my various projects over the years is well appreciated. I have worked with Dan and his crew since the 1980′s in two of my homes. The quality of the workmanship is very much noticed by people who come into my home, and there is no question that the value of both my previous and current home has definitely been affected in the positive side from the major improvements the crew has made. As a matter of fact, when working on my home people would actually stop by to ask who was doing the work as the improvements were impressive on this old home.
In addition to the quality, I have always felt very comfortable to leave the crew work unattended in my home. My personal effects have never been compromised. Dan and the crew are always courteous and caring about what I want. They are willing to listen to my ideas and work it into the job. They also are very honest about things that might not work out or may be too costly. This is very helpful in planning my budget with them.
